Alistair R Legione 64th International Conference of the Wildlife Disease Association 2015

Alistair R Legione

I haven't left the University of Melbourne since I got there after high school, does that sum me up in one sentence? I've since done a Bachelor of Science followed by a Masters of Science with the zoology department, focusing on wildlife disease (Mycobacterium ulcerans in common brushtail and ringtail possums). I then undertook three years of research assistant work at the Faculty of Veterinary Science looking at vaccine candidates for ILTV, a chicken herpes virus. Now I'm undertaking a PhD in the same faculty investigating key infectious diseases in Victorian koalas.
