Ro McFarlane
Ro McFarlane is currently convenor of new courses, including Masters of Ecological Public Health, in the Dept. of Public Health and Nutrition at the University of Canberra. She originally trained as a veterinarian. After working in zoos, agriculture, wildlife research in Antarctica and central Australia, she worked on community conservation projects in remote and rural Australia and overseas. She was awarded a PhD at the Australian National University in 2014. She is particularly interested in transdisciplinary research and translation to improve ecosystem and human health.
