Michelle Barbieri
I am a veterinarian working jointly for The Marine Mammal Center and NOAA Fisheries and based in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. I conduct population health monitoring and research on the endangered Hawaiian monk seal, provide veterinary support for field research projects, and care for seals in rehabilitation. I also provide field veterinary support to investigators studying other free-ranging marine mammals and assist NOAA with marine mammal Unusual Mortality Event investigations throughout the USA.
