Catherine K McInnes
Kate McInnes is a veterinarian with 18 years experience in New Zealand working with wildlife in the Department of Conservation, including 5 years in the National Kakapo Recovery Team, and 13 years as the National Wildlife Health Coordinator. Kate is the only veterinarian in the Department and collaborates strongly with zoos, universities, research organisations and conservation groups to understand and manage disease issues of New Zealand fauna.
